Emerging from the queer underground - home base Vrankrijk - DJ Babette (who just entered his 50s) discovered his passion for DJing quite recently. Hellbent on squeezing every last drop out of his midlife crisis, his sets carry that extra punch of urgency of someone arriving a lil’ late to the party. 

Closing of the Saturday night of KALEIDO's Queer Stage landed in his lap pretty much out of nowhere just last week, fulfilling a fantasy he’d had long before ever actually touching a controller (he’s talking to peoples about ‘manifesting’ now). Expect him to treat the assignment accordingly. Babette chases after bouncy, captivating grooves on the house/tech house/indie spectrum, infused with funk, latin, disco, homosexualism and elusive, quirky and euphoric twists. You’ll be going places!
