Oskar Wolthoorn

Oskar first got hooked during Krankenhaus, KALEIDO’s unofficial debut, where he saw queer creativity literally explode on stage. From that moment, his mission was simple: spark queer joy with nights of pure creativity and real connection—offering a genuine alternative to loneliness and substance overload in queer spaces.

KALEIDO was born. Alongside co‑founders Lau, Ruud and Sebastián, Oskar helped build the very foundation of KALEIDO. In early editions at Wolbodo, Vrankrijk, Sexyland and De Sering, he wore countless hats—managing venues, coordinating artists, performing, DJ’ing—all while relentlessly streamlining workflows. The systems and structures Ruud and him created still underpin KALEIDO’s operations today.

Under the spell of Marina Abramović’s raw intensity, Oskar has unleashed his own performance hunger. Whether through prolonged eye‑gazing or bringing his grief over a lost love on stage, he designs moments that invite audiences deep into shared emotion.

With a background in psychology, innovation and technology, he loves turning creative chaos into experiences that fire up both your senses and your soul.
