Kliko Trash

Kliko Trash is a grachtengordel nepo-baby with inherited opinions, a rent-free canal house, and a spiritual allergy to public transport. Her favourite pastime is sipping overpriced cocktails while judging people passing by and inventing tragic little backstories about lives she assumes must be far more difficult than her own.

At night, Kliko is haunted by recurring nightmares in which she’s exiled from Amsterdam’s inner city and forced to survive in dystopian wastelands like Almere or Zaandam. She wakes up sweating, clutching a linen duvet, whispering: “This can’t be happening.'' & ''Don't you know who I AM?''

Kliko has never fully understood why people work so much, complain so loudly, or insist on discussing exhausting topics like politics, housing crises, or climate collapse at dinner parties. To her, these seem like deeply self-inflicted problems.

Nobody has ever told her that “Kliko” is actually Dutch slang for a giant wheeled garbage bin. She remains convinced it’s the name of an ultra-exclusive Italian luxury fashion house known only to old money and royalty.
