K-Fairies

How can we party amidst the rise of techno-fascist-myso-genocide? If you're feeling guilty, I (tbh) love to break it to ya, but your hedonistic escape is an illusion. This is happening to you too. The revolution begins at cellular level, and we're all alive & in power.

But fear not - the K-Fairies are here to support - together we'll dissociate from those barriers of perception, to embody the world that lies beyond a culture of oppression.

The K-Fairy is a shaman for late-stage captitalism's woes and wonderments. Through our education in systems change and our lived experience on dancefloors and amidst bass of every flavor, we've developed a praxis of queer, liberatory partying. Partying as a training for being in the world. The better, more queer, more free more human world we know is possible. 

The K Fairy Training is an integrated workshop / performance / call to aliveness. We combine poetry, breathwork, somatic movement exercises, (bad) theater, and interactive prompts to light attendants up from the inside - and this is only to warm you up. The dancefloor will take you from there. 

Team

Willow - is a writer and poet living in Amsterdam, where she curates and hosts cultural events that explore the fluidity of identity. Her upbringing in the United States, alongside her studies in political science and environmental governance, has compelled her to interrogate and deconstruct the nationalist systems of state-sanctioned violence that were normalised around her. In both her writing and her life, she seeks to imagine alternatives.

Eva - is a systems change practitioner and somatic facilitator devoted to nurturing a more conscious society. By day, she works at the intersection of environmental entrepreneurship, regenerative economics, and community empowerment. By night, she cultivates somatic exploration through breathwork, movement, rhythm, psychedelics, and sound. Eva loves to create spaces where queer bodies can soften and expand, release and reconnect - where collective experience becomes a site of healing and transformation.
